9:10 p.m. - The first day of the Crawford County Fair at Girard is just about in the books. The first day of the ever-popular Crawford County Rodeo started off with a bang at 8 p.m. and a packed grandstand watched a full slate of events that will continue into Thursday night. The music coming from the American Legion stage can be heard throughout the fairgrounds and the dance is in full swing. Despite hot weather during the day, the fair has gone off without a hitch on its first day.
