Searching for information about my family:  My Great Grandfather, JUDGE ORLA SAMUEL CASAD, presided as JUSTICE OF THE PEACE (among his many accomplishments) of the DISTRICT COURT in CRAWFORD COUNTY in the early l900's.  He was married to ALLIE M. BABCOCK CASAD, who was a medical doctor.  My Grandmother, ORLENA FAY CASAD PALMER was a school teacher in JOPLIN, MISSOURI.  My Mother, PATRICIA ORLE PALMER married my Father, C. WAYNE PHELPS in Pittsburg, Kansas in 1936.  My father became JUDGE OF THE DISTRICT COURT in CRAWFORD COUNTY in 1934 (same judgeship my Great Grandfataher CASAD had held earlier).  My Father served two terms as JUDGE OF THE DISTRICT COURT after which he left Kansas in 1942 and headed West.  He and my mother arrived in VENICE, CALIFORNIA on March 1, 1943.  I was born 9 months later, the first member of my family to be born in CALIFORNIA.  I would also like to touch base with a dear friend of mine from MISSOURI, by the name of WILLIAM THORNTON KEMPER, II.  So, there you have it.  If anyone can provide me with any information concerning my family and/or my lost friend, I would be very grateful.  Thank you.
