In the future I would like to post issues that are constructive, positive and may help to preserve rural communities. Rural communities face many barriers in their efforts to grow and provide opportunities for growth. Our community has worked through many of those barriers and continues to do so. Rural communities play an important role in our society. It is only through perseverance that rural communities can make some achievements and accomplish their goals. Future post will detail past experiences that our un-incorporated community of Franklin Kansas has faced and still faces.
