I saw a Mountain Lion or Cougar about four years ago in Cherokee County. I was north bound on HWY 7 when I saw the cat in the middle of the road as I toped the rise about 1 mile south of Cherokee. The beutiful creature moved to the east side of the tree line and walked north as I slowed to get a real good look at it. The cat was dark gray to brown, about 4 foot from nose to the base of the tail and about 3 foot of tail. The place where I saw the cat is only a few miles from my house so I look around a little when I walk outside at night.
