For the last few years I have been traveling to Kansas for different events, mostly music. My first taste was Winfield in 2005. Completely changed my life. I went up there with a guitar, came back playing uprght bass and mandolin. Now I realize how backwards Oklahoma is as far as that goes. Don't get me wrong, I love Okieland, it's my home. But I have had more fun playing music in Kansas. With that said, my family and I are relocating to Pittsburg.
I have seen a whole lot of similarities between my home town of McAlester OK and Pittsburg.
